Actor Anthony Mackie, star of The Hurt Locker, Mile 8 and the forthcoming The Adjustment Bureau and actor Dominic Cooper star of Captain America: The First Avenger, Uns Education and Mamma Mia have signed up to participate in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, produced by Tim Burton and Benjamin Walker in the skin of Lincoln.



Anthony Mackie will play a character named Will, the more likely it is William Seward, Lincoln's best friend in the book and hunting companions. As a curious fact in real life, Seward was Lincoln's Secretary of State. On the other hand, the actor Henry Sturges, be a character who serves as mentor for vampires to kill Lincoln. Actor Benjamin Walker ("All Saints Day") has been chosen for the role of "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" film to be directed by Timur Bekmambetov ("Wanted"), beating more established names as well as Adrien Brody, Josh Lucas, James D 'Arcy or Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Seth Grahame-Smith, author of the novel on which the film is based, will also be responsible for writing this film to be co-produced by Tim Burton, Jim Bekmambetov and Lemley himself. Walker has recently worked on the book "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson", both on and off Broadway.



The story: As Abraham Lincoln is wide winner of the election, due in large part to its defense of the Union and the liberation of millions of slaves, his courageous fight against the evil forces remained in the shadows for years. Until Seth Grahame-Smith stumbles upon the secret diary of Lincoln.



20th Century Fox has scheduled the release of this film, which certainly will be shot in 3D for the June 22, 2012. Filming is expected to start next March.
