About 6 months ago I broke a desktop PC (Athlon 64 processor, 512 MB RAM, 128 MB video card) but then I saw my old lady anime 1280x720 HD py play some psx emulators for example. Desperately wanted to see my anime and was saving for a better time to buy a laptop, but a friend recommended I buy a netbook better, yet I was a little difficult to place the operating system, but I read on the internet that could by usb, so I decided to do it, and it suited me because it was cheaper and faster.
Search online for reviews of what was best for me, because I afraid of what I read on the net (not reproduced in HD or reproduced but is out of phase audio and video). Look in the free market for a netbook a powerful thing when playing video, I convinced the acer one 533 and now that I can tell you for sure I have some things I have tried:
-Playing videos in HD 1280x720 resolution with no lag p audio and video.
"I played with emulators like epsxe
Xenogears, for example.
Portable-games such as:
King of Fighters 2000, castelvania Symphony of the Night, Metal Slug 2, Need For Speed Underground 2, etc. and well.
Galapagos-like games, etc.
-Books. Pdf.
-All of office 2010.
-The battery lasts quite.
-Not very hot after 5 hours of continuous use (by the way recently bought a 3-fan cooling base).
And by the way I read somewhere that the Windows 7 starter could only open 3 programs simultaneously, but in netbook open the messenger, surf the Internet, listen to music, make documents in Word, no problem. I have a lcd 22 "that can put the netbook for movies.

-Games like halo, the 3D pull a little slow.
-The battery lasts less if reprodusco video.
-The screen is very small but with the external monitor is compensated.
