Apple iPad is by far more popular than its rivals. The more popular is that there are new rumors that the iPad2 (second generation) will be released early in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2010.
The latest rumor indicates that the block device will come with two options for smaller screen than the current 5.6 and 7 inches, which will have OLED screens.
Sarah Jacobsson Purewal PC World has obtained information from Digitimes and says that this news comes from new orders placed with component manufacturers based in Taiwan. The orders were for the fourth quarter of this year, and the first quarter (Q1) of 2011.
Digitimes has not revealed who his source, but if this is true, then it seems that Apple will focus on the market for electronic books (e-Books), as the iPad 2 would be cheaper than the current model. It is also believed that the 9.7-inch version will get some updates. While there has been no official announcement, according to Kuo Mingchi analyst Digitimes, Apple seems to update the hardware iPad equate it with the Cortex A9 processor and double the RAM today.
However, it is hard to believe that the iPad 2 will be as soon as the rumor suggests, since Apple now has his agenda quite loaded with the recent dismissal of Mark Papermaster and problems of the iPhone 4.
