Director Adam Shankman a few days ago confirmed that Cruise is in talks to join the film adaptation of Rock of Ages, a musical set on the Sunset Strip (the most famous blocks of Sunset Boulevard in California) that uses songs Glam Rock Band 80s.
"Everything looks very encouraging," said Shankman E! in a charity event for Trevor Project against suicide gay teen population.
"He and I have talked about doing a musical so I thought procolocarle Rock of Ages," said Shankman.
And of course that Cruise would have to sing: "I will," said Shankman. "If the movie does is going to have to sing."
