The Buenos Aires government decided to terminate the contracts of public administration of the City in excess of 60 years among women and 65 men, was informed by official notification. The opposition was raised with harsh criticism.

Communication, according to news agency DyN, provides an end from August 31 existing contracts of staff in all government departments that exceed this age limit. "In accordance with instructions issued by the Ministry of Finance, each jurisdiction should proceed with the termination of existing contracts which they would be held under the provisions of Decree 948/2005 and 959/2007 resolution," says the note.

This measure reaches contract staff, which is not part of the permanent. Many of the future laid off their regular duties paid under the employment status and waiting to be confirmed in office, a promise unfulfilled by successive administrations of the City and now the system is out of work to which it will be difficult to re- return.

No official city government tried to explain the reasons for the ruling and even how many people will cease to hold office to drop the contracts.
