Illusions behind bars, Journal of a model
Belén Téllez model presented next Tuesday, the book "Illusions Behind bars, diary of a model", which recounts his experience in Spain, where he was imprisoned and a half along with model Jessica Almada, in the context of a trial drug trafficking that resulted in acquittal and that his representative was arrested.
The book, published by Update Longseller and Up, will be released on Tuesday of next week at 19, in the Tazz Soho bar is in front of Plaza Serrano, in the barrio of Palermo.
Tellez has eight chapters in this book the experience he had since October 2006 when she was arrested in Barcelona women's prison, charged with drug trafficking, until his acquittal in April of this year, at the trial in which faced a possible sentence of 11 years imprisonment plus a fine of more than two million euros.
The models had traveled to Spain with his agent, Alex Panno, with a promise of work, but dams were off the plane at the airport El Prat de Barcelona, after the Spanish Civil Guard seized more than 16 kilos of cocaine the bags they carried.
The charges for which they were acquitted of the models fell entirely on Panno, who is now serving 11 years in prison in that city and will face paying a fine of 2.1 million euros.
The Spanish courts considered "proven" in the ruling that the models had "no knowledge" of the contents of the four double-bottom suitcases in which the drug had entered Panno.
Once released from prison in Wad Rass, the models returned home, where Tellez went through several television shows devoted to celebrities.
