The Lost Book of Nostradamus
Episodes 1 and 2
History Channel
In 1994, Italian journalist Enza Massa was at the National Library of Italy in Rome, conducting research on old texts, when the pile of documents he found a mysterious manuscript dating from 1629. Appeared inside in indelible ink the name of the author, Michel de Notredame, known as the prophet Nostradamus. This finding was particularly important because the book included over eighty watercolor illustrations that the teacher and prophet himself made.
Within the pages of the document appear mysterious and strange pictures, which some think are prophecies about the future. Letters, symbolic objects, banners, candles, crosses and even a burning tower are in the manuscript. This finding raises many questions: Are these images visual manifestations of his quatrains, which extend to the XXI century as some say? How did this book to the library? Why has it been hidden for over 400 years? Does it contain scenes so scary that Nostradamus deliberately hid them?
