Mafalda-10 books
Mafalda original series, consisting of 10 books published between 1971 and 1974 by "Ediciones de la Flor SRL, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The strip first appeared in 1961 in the weekly "Front Page" and then in the newspaper "El Mundo" and the magazine "Seven Days." The 10 books contain a total of 1908 strips to 2 per page.
Its author, JoaquÃn Lavado Mendoza, uses the pseudonym "Quino" and has a remarkable past as a comedian, having worked in publications such as the famous "Rico Tipo. In Mafalda shows a child with physical remnants of "Periquita" of Bushmill, but intellectually referable only to its author, who puts in the mouth of the character his own philosophy of humor.
Mafalda is a way of seeing the world in the 60's and "70 from the point of view of a middle class family in Argentina.
