The electronic book finally takes off

Amazon will launch the new Kindle, a device for storing "digital books." In the last holiday season were units for sale and still remains exhausted.

Just two years ago seemed impossible to read novels in a six-inch screen could be commonplace, but the success of devices like the Amazon Kindle e-book managed to finally become popular.
Experts estimate that the online retailer Amazon and sold nearly half a million units of its Kindle electronic book reader, although the company does not publish its figures for distribution.
This Christmas, the apparatus was exhausted (in the Amazon page is still empty) even though it costs $ 359 and the sector experienced the worst Christmas season in its history.
Amazon got his reader to make prolonged reading on a small screen really nice. The key is that E-Ink technology makes the monitor in the closest thing to a book page by removing, for example, excessive lighting.
Kindle is the size of a hardback book, weighs only 300 grams and includes wireless Internet access that lets you download volumes of Amazon's online store in just a minute discolocar without a computer.
Kindle has increased its offering of securities by 67% since its launch and now has a catalog of 230,000 books, as well as blogs, newspapers and magazines. Each download is priced separately: a bestseller costs, for example, ten dollars.
As reported in the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the company will present on Monday the latest generation of readers who may modify their design to a new keyboard and faster to download pages thanks to advances in technology E-Ink.
The presentation will be held at the Morgan Library in New York, whose millions of volumes in role could someday be replaced by devices such as Kindle and its competitors.
