Rodriguez Saa had slave workers during their stay puntana
A group of workers was fired from a stay from the governor of San Luis Alberto Rodriguez Saa. Along with the CGT puntana denounce illegal conditions in which they worked for dissident Peronist candidate.
Rural workers reported having been dismissed without cause from one of the rooms of the Governor Rodriguez Saa said yesterday the digital newspaper Crónica de San Luis. Employees work under illegal conditions: they were not registered, having several children, was not complied with the salary or working hours, among other violations of their rights.
For this reason, the provincial CGT denounced the situation to the territorial chief of the Ministry of Labour of the Nation, Patricia Picca. The filing is signed by the secretary of the CGT union local, John Accornero, and six of the dismissed workers: Emilio Moreno, Walter Fernando Agüero, Federico Gutiérrez, Walter Nahuel Tasca, Walter Fernandez and Oscar Aguero.
This is one of the rooms that the governor and one of the premier dissident Peronist, Alberto Rodriguez Saa has in the picturesque town of Durazno, thirty kilometers from the capital of San Luis.
Employees performing any type of work in the "Los Cedros"-former-cultural complex, under poor conditions, according to the aforementioned digital media, were not registered even though they had more than half a year working on the site, no they respected the eight hours of wages promised by the boss who hired the workers, identified as Christian Smith, "did not receive medical coverage for any accident, nor were they satisfied the wage set before hand.
"We were hired to work in the field of Mr. Alberto past year and a half, and on Tuesday received the dismissal without cause. On paper we worked eight hours, but we work more than ten hours. We did weeding, painting, masonry and maintenance . Another crew took care of a vineyard. They were exposed to the sun and forced laborers, "Oscar was one of the young men who worked as a laborer for the presidential candidate of the Nation by the Federal Peronism.
But Oscar's plight was not just personal: "My brother was 18 years six months working on the site and one day a pine tree fell on his head. He was hospitalized four months in intensive care seriously. Some took the news media but came to nothing. The pattern never cared because it was the camp to the Governor, "he said.
While workers are not directly dependent on Rodriguez Saa, but a contractor named Suárez, employees are convinced that the president knew his situation. "It's supposed to know why Mr. (for governor) paced the field and watched us work. Never had a deal with him, but need not encouraged them to tell us what the situation worked. We had to endure abuse and humiliation" said Oscar.
