religious nun Sister Christian kitchen cook
Twitter "killed" Sister Bernarda and then "resurrected"
The rumor became the network news and the obituaries were published. Wikipedia gave up for dead. But the nun who cooks on TV is alive and well, said its editorial.
"Bernarda sister died, shot a user in a tweet. And as the virality Twitter is a virtue, sometimes playing as default.
Because the rumor became "news" network and "killed" in a few minutes at a nun who captivated millions of viewers and broke sales records with her cookbooks.
Obituaries were written about it in newspapers (noblesse oblige, this one too) and even Wikipedia was given up for dead.
But while social networks are flooded with messages of condolences and memories for the "deceased", and online newspapers and TV news became a boom, the reply came: Bernarda is alive and very healthy.
I clarified from the publisher of his successful books. "It is fully alive," he told the Los Andes Gonzalo Baggio, Press Editorial Bonum.
"To us a customer informs us of Rosario, who had seen the news on the Internet. I checked and saw that Television.com.ar reported that he died at 7 and a half, but a person we had spoken to her at 9 . So we called at 10 and room and told us he was going to do some grocery shopping, "said Baggio to refute the false information.
Just as "killed" Twitter's "rose" an hour later. Is clear: social networking, you can die while still alive.
