Three million books to schools across the country

Some three million textbooks and school books will be delivered during 2011 at various schools across the country through an operation to be presented today by the Minister of National Education, Alberto Sileoni.

The specimens, which will begin to distribute from the beginning of the school year, including textbooks, math books for students and teachers, literary works, and this year, joined English textbooks for primary and secondary, according to a statement from the education portfolio.

The Ministry distributed during 2011 some three million books, for which earmarked an investment of nearly 2 million pesos.

This distribution will add to the nearly 35 million books and has given the ministry to educational institutions at all levels in all jurisdictions.

The event will be held at 15 in the same place where the copies, pending distribution, located in San Antonio 941, City of Buenos Aires.

In the ceremony attended by authorities of national education portfolio, and representatives of the Argentina Chamber of Publications and Argentina Book Chamber.
