Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated series broadcast on Nickelodeon U.S., oriented in a fantasy world influenced heavily by the Asian continent with both the martial arts with magic items and Eastern mysticism.
It is located in a world divided into 4 nations, that of fire, air, land and water, in every nation there is a group of people called teachers who have the ability to control their native element. History tells us that to maintain balance and equilibrium among the elements in each generation there is a person called Avatar, which is the spirit embodied in the world, and has the ability to control the 4 elements. Avatar constantly reincarnated in different nations following the cycle (water, earth, fire and air), ie once an Avatar dies, reincarnated as the next nation in the cycle, since time immemorial.
This story chronicles the adventures of Aang, the successor to a long line of Avatars, and his friends Katara a Water Master, Sokka and Katara's brother warrior by nature and later in the series Toph, in addition to his two animal companions and pets Aang, Appa the flying bison and Momo the lemur. Its mission is to stop attempts to conquer the Fire Nation on the other elements in the path must avoid all sorts of obstacles such as Prince Zuko and legions of soldiers from the Fire Nation.
