Peter Jackson and 'The Hobbit': 'Soon there will be news'

new Peter Jackson the Hobbit will be announced

The Hobbit: Peter Jackson announced that there will be news!

Peter Jackson, was quoted in The Dominion Post [via ComingSoon], saying that he will soon know whether or not direct The Hobbit finally, at some point.

In his last statement, Jackson again reiterated that legal negotiations are complicating the imminent production of the film, but offered some assurance to say that the study which controls half of the rights of the prequel to The Lord of the Rings [Warner Bros ] is "making progress to unravel the situation in MGM ...", as the Metro is currently in bankruptcy and still undecided on who will resolve the studio productions.

In addition to its possible confirmation [in / out, do not know by now] as a director in The Hobbit, you must also add a potential project that revolves around Jackson. This is a major production about the Battle of Gallipoli, told from the point of view of Australia and the Army Corps of New Zealand (ANZAC). Failure to enroll as a director in the adaptation of Tolkien, perhaps this is a project begins to take hold.

n

Anyway, The Hobbit is moving slowly but with clear intentions to move forward. There is still a script in progress despite delays, and also said the Australian actor Jeremy Sims, recently auditioned for a role that presumably will be among the roles of Bert, William, and Tom Huggins.

One of these three characters also has a cameo 'joke' in the book and the film version of The Fellowship of the Ring (The Fellowship of the Ring).

While noting that their work is over, and for some time it was rumored involvement in the creation of Smaug, Mignola says he was half weeks in New Zealand and I can witness the incredible work that various artists have been making for what will be the installed in the ground prequel Media and directed by Guillermo del Toro, with a history of working with Peter Jackson and crew of the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings.

"So much work has been done before they even arrive. There is too much work into it. It is too early to talk of many things that I have to put myself to much. "

And yes, so much work that "looks like a 16-hour film." The only thing clear, thus, is that Mignola does not feel very comfortable talking about it, "except that it looks great. Have enough of the picture of Toro in the world. "

I've already posted quite, but the actor has spoken again.

But in recent months although it was rumored that McCoy was being considered to play Bilbo, the actor denies the situation and said that is actually being considered for an undetermined role that already raises the speculation over the network.

Thus, explains that "we are currently in negotiations. Two of us [actors] that we considered. Not for the role of Bilbo, but could be bigger.
