Some time ago I was introduced the iLiad e-reader, ebook reader, and now have ready the next version, the iLiad Book Edition, incorporating more interesting capabilities, but without wireless connectivity discolocar as in the case of the Kindle.

Its screen, 8.1 inches, with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 16 gray levels, is now touch, allowing us to take notes and write as if plain paper.

It supports PDF, HTML, TXT, Mobipocket, JPG, BMP and PNG, which can store in its internal memory of 256 MB, USB disk or Compact Flash or MMC card. It also allows playback of audio, for which includes a 3.5 mm connector.

And although it has no Wi-Fi, so if that is included is a small accessory that adds an Ethernet connector, with which we connect to the network. This will allow us to download books and synchronization of RSS feeds.

The weight of the iLiad Book Edition is about 430 grams and will go on sale starting May 9 in Europe, at a price of 499 euros. Somewhat high, but according to the services offered.
